wool is a HUGE part of the answer.
This is really bright
white batting - the best I can find for teeth and eyes in my
needle felted creations. If you need a bright white wool
to make your needle felted creations sparkle with life, this is
the wool to use.
Dream Felt White
Merino Batting is prepared from short-fibers that have been
combed out of the wool when processed into roving. Merino
Roving and Batting are not the same. - while both
are made from fine and luxurious merino wool, Dream Felt's
short-fibered batting is much easier to needle felt because the
fibers are short and messy - the long combed fibers of roving
tends to leave grooves and stripes. I always have a
small bit of this wool near my felting pad - it's that
essential!
