My personal favorite wool for soft sculptural needle felting. This exquisite wool batting is one of my secrets as to what makes my Felt Alive needle felted creations seem alive!

This wool batting is imported from Europe and originates from the Norwegian breed of sheep. It is graded as C1 which indicates that it is a summer wool; only grown for the short summer season, resulting in shorter, crimpy fibers that felt fast with a felting needle.

Produced under the highest standards; virtually free of vegetable matter and irregularities. This is the cream of the crop when it comes to wool for needle felting.

My favorite use for Dream Felt Premium Felting Batts is for the flesh layer of my Felt Alive Dolls.

It is simply a must have for serious needle felted doll makers.

The flesh tones are the best you will find anywhere and when finished properly, it has a sheen not unlike human skin. When the dolls flex and move, their "skin" rolls and folds like our own. Dream Felt Premium Batting is a very durable wool that allows for great flexibility in needle felted joints.
