Here is another favorite.  My little caricature of Albert Einstein is one of my early pieces done over a wire armature.  He has the most soulful eyes!  On a lark and at the last minute, I entered him into the competition in the Alaska State Fair.  I couldn't believe my eyes when I went to see him on display at the fair and there he was, amongst hundreds of beautiful works of fiber arts, just dripping with ribbons!    I was quite honored!  He won first place in his category, he won division champion and he also won the big one - Best in Show in the entire fleece and fiber arts department!   So I guess little Albert is my SuperStar!!
