Felt Alive at the Alaska State Fair 2008
I entered several of my characters into the Alaska State Fair – I was beyond thrilled with how well they were received by the judges in the different categories I entered them in.
My Einstein doll even won Best in Show in the Fleece and Fiber Division
Needle felting is such a new craft and it is so unusual that needle felted sculptures draws a bunch of attention. It is very exciting to have them on display for Alaskans to see, adorned with all of their pretty ribbons.

It was a fun and inspiring experience to see my dolls with all of their ribbons. All I want to do now is keep needle felting to bring more wool to life.
