What you need
Kay reviews supplies in chapter one — start there before you shop. Amounts are for one project.
Needles
- Yellow 40 triangle single
- Orange 40 star single (a little stronger)
- Orange 40 star double — speedier felting around the wire
- A spare needle
Wool
- A variety of batting and roving colors — these projects do not take much wool (Kay reviews amounts in chapter 1)
Tools
- Foam felting pad (8×10" or larger)
- Felting stick (paper lollipop stick or wooden skewer)
- Strong sewing needle — used as a sculpting tool, not for sewing
- Florist wire and wire cutters
